方法二：多個方面——Think in different aspects。很多時候同一件事情從不同的方面說就有不同的觀點。例如限制購買車輛，單獨寫出來是一件很簡單的事情，也不需要很多字數;但是，如果從政府、上班族、汽車生產者、汽車銷售商等多個角度去考慮和落筆，文章就豐富了，字數也上去了。

方法三：正說反說——Divide into two sides。一個觀點，乃至一件事情，不論如何肯定都有正反兩個方面。這一方面是說一個事情肯定有利有弊，另一方面是說人們的態度也有支持和反對兩種。在寫作文的時候，如果能夠注意支持一面的同時，對立場相左的一方予以分並進行反駁，則文章內容更加豐富，邏輯更加完整，字數也不用擔心。

最後，還有一個不是方法的方法，就是注意總結，很多烤鴨在寫最後的結論段的時候以爲就是走個形式，空喊一下就完成。其實，總結段是應該回顧整個文章，然後強調自己的觀點的。在回顧整個文章的時候，要比主體段更簡略，更有側重，更加精煉。如果重視起總結的內容，文章不論從完整程度上還是字數上都會因此受益。
