一、雅思寫作單詞縮寫問題
雅思寫作的大小作文一般都是正式的學術文體，不論是在格式上或者是在語言上，國外的學習以及工作中寫的論文、報告都不會使用縮寫形式。但大多數考生會因爲寫高中作文、大學四六級作文時逐漸的養成了縮寫的習慣，同時還把此習慣依然的運用到了雅思寫作中，這在正式的文體中是不允許的。雅思寫作中只有少數單詞可採用縮寫(如：CO2 for carbon dioxide; TV for television; e.g. for for example， 以及etc. for et cetera -等於and so on)，其他的縮寫均不能採用。
二、雅思寫作格式混亂問題
英文寫作格式包含有兩種，即齊頭式和縮進式。一般齊頭式由於頂頭書寫且段與段之間空出一行，因此還會給人以整潔的感覺，在這裏還更加的推薦大家使用這種格式。縮進式和中文的寫作格式相似，相當於是每一段的開頭句縮進，但是段落之間沒有空行，所以不是很受歡迎。
