英語專八寫作高分攻略

1. 仔細審題、分析材料(2-3分鐘)

考生讀題時, 首先需要找出題目的主題詞或句(topic words or sentence), 即題目所給出的關鍵信息。分清楚什麼是重要信息，什麼是次要信息。以專八樣題爲例，題目中的college study will never be the same for both professors and students是主要信息和關鍵信息，其他內容是次要信息。所以文章應該論證online learning or MOOCS 會給高等教育帶來哪些不同。然後，考生必須完成題目中所提出的兩項任務要求：1. summarize briefly the opinions from both sides; 2. give your comment。也就是說，既要概括雙方觀點，又要給出自己的評論，缺一不可。就此題目來說，概括學校 一方對線上授課或慕課平臺的評價：“The University of Washington (UW) in the US isn't shy about the benefits and drawbacks of online education.”(在線教育既有不可替代的優點，也有侷限性。)也要提煉出學生一方對這一方式的認識：“But for me these concerns fall flat in the face of the convenience, flexibility and independence online learning offers.”(學習者充分享受這一學習方式的便捷性、靈活性和獨立性。)當然也有學生認爲，在某些方面，課堂教學更有優勢：“Although MOOCs are improving my learning experiences, this new form of teaching cannot compete with traditional ways of learning in terms of teacher-student interaction.”

2. 列出提綱、確定佈局(3-4分鐘)

在審完題後，就要提煉出中心思想(central idea)。就本文而言，在概括雙方觀點的基礎上，提煉出自己的觀點：Considering both sides, it is clear that online teaching system or platforms can help students achieve higher learning effectiveness despite its drawbacks. 綜合來看，這種方式儘管也有缺點，但是能夠極大地提高學習者的學習效果。這個觀點緊扣題目中的主題句college study will never be the same for both professors and students。

明確了中心思想以後，接下來要構思文章的結構，寫出大體的框架或簡明的提綱。專八作文可以按兩種模式來寫，但一般都是四段式。

第一種模式是分爲導語、概述、評論和結尾四部分。導語部分給出觀點，概述部分對材料進行評述，評論部分對觀點進行論證，結尾部分總結論點。

(現代科技創新了人們生活中的教學方式。)然後引出題目並概括出針對題目雙方有不同的關注或者持有不同的觀點：Online teaching system or platforms is a recent phenomenon and consequently it is controversial. In spite of the fact that both universities and students have embraced this new style of teaching and learning, there are still worries and concerns.(線上教學方式受到學校和學生的歡迎，同時作爲一種新的教學方式，人們對它也有不同的聲音。)最後給出自己的觀點：Considering both sides, it is clear that online teaching system or platforms can help students achieve higher learning effectiveness despite its drawbacks. (綜合來看，這種方式儘管也有缺點，但是能夠極大地提高學習者的學習效果。)

(2)評論部分的寫法

評論部分可以從兩個方面來論述。以寫作樣題爲例，第二段闡述一方的觀點或問題的一面：先給出中心句(College students now enjoy greater benefits.)然後闡述第一個原因(Firstly, thanks to modern technology, learning online gives students access to a wider range of courses.)之後展開陳述。接着闡述第二個原因(Secondly, the flexibility and mobility given by the online teaching system makes students learn at any time anywhere in their convenience.)之後展開陳述。

第三段指出問題的另一面或者另一方的觀點(On the other hand, online teaching and learning is much demanding and requires students’ full commitment and independence)接着分別用admittedly和meanwhile引出online learning 的侷限性。如果有反方觀點的話，可以先陳述反方觀點的合理性，然後駁斥反方觀點的不合理性。

(3)結尾段的寫法

首先重申觀點(In conclusion, with the greatest technological boom in education, online learning or MOOCS, is an irreversible trend.)然後提出不能忽視問題的另一面(So, the question really is not “Which one?” but rather, “How can we combine both?” The answer is that each performs its own functions.)最後對觀點進行提升(Undoubtedly, this revolutionary practice in education will continuously have more far-reaching consequences and will dramatically reshape the nature of higher education. )

值得注意的是，概述部分不應該太長(以不超過文章總長度的三分之一爲宜)，也不要大量引用材料中的句子，否則很容易失分。評論段是文章的主體部分，寫作時應條理清晰，論述有據，佔文章長度的三分之二左右。導語和結尾都不宜太長，簡要闡明即可。

4. 檢查修改(2-3分鐘)

對文章中的語法、用詞、拼寫、標點和大小寫都要一一檢查，甚至還要對文章內容或字數的不足進行補救。這一步驟不但在正式考試中不能忽略，而且在平時的寫作訓練中也要引起重視，養成習慣。
