雅思寫作中這些詞彙不宜使用

1. a lot of/lots of
這對詞組通常別在academic essay中出現，考官因爲已看煩了。能夠換成A considerable number of來代替它們。
例如：There are a lot of books in the library.
There are a considerable number of books in the library.
2. Recently
這個詞不好，按照專家的說法事實上即是too imprecise,不存在一個具體的時間。可以用 in the last five years…/since…代替。
例如：Recently, many foreigners came to China.
3.There is a survey……
專家一般會這麼說: Has there been?相當於是說考官清楚這些全部是你編的，一般不要用了。
例如：There is a survey on this problem.
4.And, but
這三個詞大家經常使用到。事實上一般使用in addition。
例如：And another three students come from Shanghai.
5.No one can deny that…/Undoubtedly
這2個詞組用來開頭並不合適。事實上每一個人都是可以保持和你意見相反的態度。
例如：Undoubtedly, everyone knows it is true.
6.In my opinion, I agree/disagree with this
這是多餘的表達。When stating your opinion you follow with a fact 相信大家都能看懂，便不會翻譯了。
例如：In my opinion, we should do this job at once.
7.Nowadays
理由與2基本相同, 這個詞使用在文章裏顯得過於普通了, 專家的原話是it does not mean very much。
例如：Nowadays, more and more students go abroad to seek better education.
8.不能用vivid 來形容world，vivid能夠用來表示memories或者是dream之類的。
9.It is a well known fact…一般不要用, 有的考官可能會扣分。
10.very不不可以使用來形容delicious, gorgeous and huge。
11.雅思寫作文章裏一定不可以使用縮寫, 例如I’m，在考場上千萬別犯懶，在平日也不要縮寫，多多注意養成良好的習慣。
