表示時間的介詞：
(1)in，on，at 在……時
in表較長時間，世紀朝代時代、年、季節、月及一般(非特指)的早、中、晚
如：in the 20th century，in the 1950s，in 1989，in summer，in January，in the morning，in the night，in one's life ，in one's thirties
on表示具體某一天及某一天的早、中、晚。
如：on May 1st，on Monday，on New Year's Day，on a cold night ，in January，on a fine morning，on Sunday afternoon.
at表示某一時刻或較短暫的時間，或泛指聖誕節，復活節等。
如：at 3:20，at this time of year，at the beginning of，at the end of …，at the age of …，at Christmas，at night，at noon，at this moment
在last，next，this，that，some，every 等詞之前一律不用介詞
如：We meet every day.
(2)in，after 在……之後
“in +段時間”表示將來的一段時間以後;
“after+段時間”表示過去的一段時間以後;
“after+將來點時間”表示將來的某一時刻以後。
例句：My mother will come back in three or four days.
He arrived after five months.
She will appear after five o'clock this afternoon.
(3)from，since 自從……
from僅說明什麼時候開始，不說明某動作或情況持續多久;
since表示某動作或情況持續至說話時刻，通常與完成時連用。
例句：He studied the piano from the age of three.
They have lived here since 1978.
(4)after，behind 在……之後
after主要用於表示時間;
behind主要用於表示位置。
例句：We shall leave after lunch.
Lucy is hiding behind an old house.

按結構英語介詞可分爲3類：
1.簡單介詞(約有70個)，如：in，at，on，by，with，down，for，beside，along，across等。
2.分詞介詞(約15個)如：during，following，considering，regarding，speaking，judging，talking等。
3.成語介詞(約有500個)如：out of，apart from(除…之外：別無、尚有)，because of，by means of用、依靠等。
按意義英語介詞可分爲3類：
1.時間介詞，如：at，on，in，during，over，from，for，until等。
2.地點介詞，如：at，on，in， across，to，over，between，inside，outside等。
3.其它介詞，如：by，with，about，except，instead of，due to，apart from等。
