1. I would rather watch TV shows than sports shows. 我寧願看電視劇而不願看運動節目.
would rather…than…表 “寧願……而不願”, 與prefer…to…同義,但它們在結構上不同.
前者是 would rather do sth. than do sth.,= would do sth. rather than dosth.…;後者是 prefer doing sth. to doing sth. =prefer to do sth. rather than dosth.
eg: I would rather stay at home than go out. = I prefer staying at home togoing out.= I would stay at home rather than go out..=I prefer to stay at homerather go out.我寧願呆在家中而不願出去.

alive 表 “活着的”, 常修飾人,而不修飾物. 一般作表語或賓補.
living 同義, 既可修飾人, 也可修飾物. 在句中既可作定語也可作表語.
