商務英語中的典型套語學習

大家知道嗎?商務英語也非常注重實際的交際功能,在長期的國際商務交流中,逐漸形成了一系列言簡意賅而且又很實用的商務專業典型套語。這些套語很具特色,如果大家也想了解的話,下面的內容希望好好看看。也許BEC商務英語考試中也會用到。

商務英語中的典型套語學習

例1: We hereby confirm acceptance of your order and are enclosing here with our sales confirmation in duplicate.

譯文:茲確認收到貴方訂單,先隨函寄去我方的銷售確認書一式兩份。

例2: Enclosed please find the letter of credit NO. 6547 which is opened by the Bank of China in Berlin.

譯文:隨函附上我們通過在柏林的中國銀行開出的信用證6547號。

例3: We usually accept payment by L/C at sight draft or by T/T (telegraphic transfer)or M/T( mail transfer) reimbursement in advance, but never by C.0.D.(cash on delivery).

譯文:通常我們接受即期信用證付款或電匯及信匯預付貨款。我們從不接受貨到付款的辦法。

例4: Please be informed that, on account of the fluctuations of foreign exchanges, the quotation is subject to change without previous notice.

譯文:茲告知貴方,由於外匯的波動,報價隨時可能變更,恕不另行通知。

在商務活動中,禮貌原則是非常重要的。由於禮貌的關係,商務英語信函經常採用禮貌客氣的措詞。

英譯漢時,要注重再現原文的禮貌語氣,儘量選用漢語商務信函中相應的套語句型,如表示感謝的套語:“謹”、“承蒙”、“敬請”、“見諒”、“爲盼”、“欣聞”等等。

例5: We have pleasure in sending you our catalog, which gives full information about ourvarious products.

譯文:欣寄我方目錄,提供我方各類產品的詳細情況。

例6: It would also be appreciated if you could forward samples and your price-list to us.

譯文:如能惠寄樣本和價格表,亦必感激不盡。

例7: In settlement of your invoice of March 8,$325,000, we enclose a draft, on theCitibank, for which amount please credit our account and acknowledge receipt.

譯文:爲結清3月8日貴方發票,我們附上花旗銀行匯票面額325 000美元,敬請記入本公司貸方賬戶,並請開出收據爲荷。

例8: Your early reply is highly appreciated.

譯文:承蒙早日回覆,不勝感激。

例9: In reply to your enquiry of October 23, we are really sorry to say that we cannotdivulge any ofour sales information. We hope this will not bring you too much inconvenience.

譯文:茲復貴方10月23日詢價函,我們非常抱歉地奉告,我們不能泄露我方任何銷售情況。我們希望這不會給貴方帶來很多不便。

商務英語的特殊性可能剛開始學的時候會有些疑惑,時間長了大家應該就能夠抓住規律了。
