【英語天天向上】輕鬆每日一句：走在陌生的路上

前言：本期總結來自部落“天天向上英語每日一句”(20101227-20110102)。每天積累一句簡單實用的句子，讓你脫口而出說英語！句子由外教Alison老師親自朗讀，發音純正，大家別忘了進行模仿練習哦！

1. 一個人總要走陌生的路，看陌生的風景，聽陌生的歌。

【原句】One is always on a strange road, watching strange scenery and listening to strange music.
【解說】watch the scenery 看風景

2. 我相信，只要有勇氣去追求，我們所有人都可以實現夢想。

【原句】I believe that all of our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them.
【解說】make one's dream come true 實現夢想

3. 傍晚時天空的色彩慢慢融成一片藍色。

【原句】The colours of the evening sky slowly merged into blue.
【解說】merge into 使合併，使融入

4. 各時代皆有其自身的問題，各人皆有其獨特的願望。

【原句】Every age has its own problem and every soul its particular aspiration.
【解說】這是用and連接的並列句式。在並列句中，如果主語不同，而謂語動詞相同，則可以省略謂語動詞。所以every soul has its particular aspiration中省略了has。

5. 災難是不可預料的，我們應該珍惜眼前的一切。

【原句】Disaster is unpredictable; we should treasure the present.
【解說】treasure用作名詞的意思是“珍寶，珍品”，轉化爲動詞則解釋爲“重視，珍惜”，表示珍藏某物以防丟失，尤指珍貴的或富有精神價值的物品，用於人時指出於愛慕之心而珍視或重視。

6. 生活是一個承諾，履行它吧。

【原句】Life is a promise, fulfill it.
【解說】fulfill one's promise 就是“履行承諾”的意思，另外我們還可以說live up to one's promise, abide by one's promise, keep one's word等等。

7. 樂觀的人看到玫瑰，悲觀的人只能看到刺。

【原句】An optimist sees the rose; a pessimist sees the thorn.
【解說】optimist和pessimist是一對反義詞，分別表示“樂天派”和“悲觀者”。至於“樂觀的”和“悲觀的”則是optimistic和pessimistic。
