J: I don't understand why you dye your hair
and wear all kinds of weird clothes, Kate.
K: I guess that's how I attract boys.
J: Yes, but the wrong kind of boys.
K: What do you mean?
J: The type of guys who go out with you wear earrings and have tattoos on their arms.
K: What kind of guys do you think I should go out with then?
J: Uh… somebody like me, for instance.
K: Oh, is that so?
J: The day will come when you know I'm right.
K: We'll see.

傑森正在和凱特說話，她是一位他非常喜歡的同學。
傑森：我不懂你爲什麼染髮
又穿些怪異的衣服，凱特。
凱特：我想那就是我吸引男孩子的方法吧。
傑森：對，可是是那種不正經的男孩子。
凱特：你這話什麼意思?
傑森：那種會和你交往的男孩子
都戴耳環而且在手臂上有刺青。
凱特：那麼你認爲我該和哪一種男孩子交往?
傑森：嗯………比方說，像我這樣的人。
凱特：哦，是這樣嗎?
傑森：總有一天你會知道我說的話是對的。
凱特：咱們走着瞧吧。
