競選班長
The boy students in our class were preparing to run for monitor. Hearing the news, we girls were full of iaterest and curiosity. We were in bigh spirits and went to listen to their competltive speech. We decided to put our sacred vote to the most suitable person after careful consideration.
The first one who stood up to speak was Yin Xing, who was very active in physical and recreational activities. He pledged to enrich our school life by leading us in singing and dancing and playing games.
The second speaker was Tong Sheng, who was smart and ceonomical and good at planning, He said be would arrange fox our budget in class activities.
The speeches went on. My eyes fell on Jiang Xin, who sat in a corner, listening attentively. That boy was quiet and always readyto help others in their studies. He could play basketball and dance gracefully. I asked him why he did not run for monitor. He said he was no good. Hearing us talking, someone shouted,"Jiang Xin, why not join in and run for monitor?" Jiang Xin stood up. embarrassed,"I am no good. If anyone is in need of me, I am ready to help. That's all."
The time had come for us to count the votes. And to my delight ,Jiang Xin received the most votes and was elected monitor.

Good morning!
Today, My sole purpose of standing on stage here is to run for "the chief leaders of the class" – the monitor.
As the saying goes, the husband is to be the one of the same interest, similarly,the monitor must be the one of compatible character.
I have never served as cadres of class,leading to my lack of experience. This is the disadvantage, but just because I never muddle along in the officialdom, I am honest with no bureaucratic tone and airs,with less flinching personal intensions, and more adventurous pioneering spirit. It is precisely because of the fact that I have always been living in the substratum, have never experienced standing high above the masses, and dislike putting on bureaucratic airs,therefore, I especially posess the style of dingly,my slogan is always “to be a thorough civilian monitor”. I’d like to be a doer, having no use for any flowery language to makes me annealed,while life makes me brought up.

Today, our class held the monitor election. `And I became the new monitor in my class. I was very happy, but I was still very nervous now. When the election began, I was so nervous that I can hear my heart beating heavily. I tried my best to calm down for a long time. Then I went to the platform to begin my prepared speech. I felt my brain was blank when I was having my speech. Before the election, I was confident for this position, but I still so nervous when I was in the platform. Thanks for preparing in advance; otherwise, I must be embarrassed. But the result was what I want. It’s a happy thing.
今天，我們班競選班長了。`我成爲了新的班長。我很高興，不過我現在仍然很緊張。競選開始的時候，我好緊張，我都可以聽到我的心怦怦跳了。我努力了很長一段時間才平靜下來。然後我才走向講臺開始我已經準備好的演講。在演講的時候，我覺得我的大腦一片空白。在競選之前，我對這一職位是很有信心，但當我站在講臺上時還是很緊張。幸好提前準備了;否則，我肯定很難堪。不過結果卻是我想要的。這是一件值得開心的事。
