第一課時
教學內容：A. Let’s talk
教學目標：1、能夠聽、說、讀句型It’s so……
2、並在情景中熟練應用
教學重點：1、能聽、說、認讀幾個形容詞tall fat thin short

教學難點：句型It’s so…
1、S: The elephant has a long nose. It has big ears. It has a shorttail. It is (so)big. 教師引導學生將這些句子用and連接在一起，並帶讀：Look at the elephant, It’s so big. It has along nose and a short tail. It has small eyes and big ears.
2、再次播放Let’s talk 部分的教學錄音，讓學生跟讀對話中的句子，模仿發音，要求自然生動。

教學內容：A. Let’s learn Let’s do
教學目標：1.能聽、說、認讀幾個形容詞tall fat thin short。
2.聽懂含有形容詞的幾個指令，並按指令做動作。
教學重點：1.能聽、說、認讀幾個形容詞tall fat thin short。
2.聽懂含有形容詞的幾個指令，並按指令做動作。
教學難點：聽懂含有形容詞的幾個指令，並按指令做動作。
1、出示圖片，教師說：You will see a beautiful picture. Look at it carefully and tell us:What’s in it?/What are they?
2、教師快速展示系列動物圖片：giraffe, monkey,
3、學生根據看到的圖片說說動物單詞。培養觀察力和記憶力。
4、繼續展示圖片：兩隻長頸鹿，對比他們的大小
T: What are they?They are giraffes. Oh, Look! This is very tall. But that is very short. 教師強調tall 和 short。
5、同樣出事猴子圖片，比較胖瘦，引出單詞，教師領讀學生跟讀學習單詞; 教師也可關閉聲音, 讓學生看動畫讀單詞。
6、播放Let’s learn 部分的錄音，學生單詞跟讀。
7、教師將Let’s learn 部分的單詞卡舉起，帶讀，學生以“開火車”的形式練習。如果可能，可以讓學生拼讀單詞。如：t-a-l-l,tall.
8、 教師播放 Let’s do 部分的錄音，學生邊聽邊說邊做此部分的活動。
9、 教師使用Let’s do 部分的動作圖卡，讓學生看圖說圖卡上畫的是什麼動物做的動作。

第三課時
教學內容：Let's spell
教學目標：1、Let’s spell 本部分通過listen,repeatand chant 達到對單詞拼寫的練習 2、Circle 圈出聽到的單詞。write,練習書寫四個簡單單詞。
教學重點：1. 通過listen,repeat and chant 達到對單詞拼寫的練習。
2. 練習書寫四個簡單單詞。
教學難點：讓學生體會字母e的發音，能夠獨立拼讀簡單的含有字母e的單詞。
(一) 1、播放Let’s spell的錄音，讓學生聽歌謠。
2、讓學生跟着動畫學說歌謠，同時可用手打節奏。
(二)1、播放Let’s circle的錄音,讓學生圈出正確的單詞。
聽音後反覆讀四個單詞，在此基礎上進行描紅，達到書寫格式正確的目的。
(三)當堂訓練
看誰拿得快
出示磁卡，讓學生拿圖片，拿的快的積分。計算最後結果，給與優勝小組獎勵。

教學內容：B、Let's learn Let’s do
教學目標：能聽、說、認讀幾個形容詞small, big, long, short。聽懂含有形容詞的幾個指令;並按指令做動作。單詞small 中[l] 的發音。
教學重點：1.能聽、說、認讀幾個形容詞small, big, long, short。
2.聽懂含有形容詞的幾個指令;
教學難點：並按指令做動作。單詞small 中[l] 的發音。

教學目標：1.讓學生在練習中得以掌握have 和 has 的對比和運用。
2.在情景中運用small, big,, short, tall。
教學重點：1.讓學生在練習中得以掌握have 和 has 的對比和運用。
2.在情景中運用small, big,, short, tall。
教學難點：have 和 has 的對比和運用。
1、教師爲學生播放本單元第一課時的教學錄音，複習單詞big, short, small, tall。
2、瞭解so 的用法。 so 在句子中的意思是：“強調某種程度”。
3、教師出示單詞卡片或實物對比的方法，再次認讀並複習表示大小、長短的單詞big, long, short, small, tall。
4、根據學生對課件的記憶以及平日生活中的觀察，讓學生說說大象的眼睛、鼻子以及整體的樣子。

教學目標：1、通過歌曲檢查學生對本課的熟悉和掌握程度;
2、通過做題檢查學生對本課的熟悉和掌握程度。
教學重點：1、複習本單元所學的字母、單詞和句型。
2、能夠準確完成Start to read和Let’s check的內容。
教學難點：瞭解Story time部分故事內容，能夠聽懂、會說，分角色表演故事。
1、放Start to read部分的錄音，學生畫出正確的句子。
2、做書上Let’s check檢查學習情況。
3、學習Let’s sing 和Storytime
4、做活動手冊上相應的練習。
5、課外活動(Add-activities)
6、將學會的國家名字說給家長聽。

1、全體學生按節奏拍手，拍兩下手掌拍兩下膝蓋。教師吧1-3單元的單詞卡片按照節奏規律掛到黑板上，學生拍兩下手掌是說出單詞，在拍兩下膝蓋作爲停頓;然後繼續拍兩下手掌說出下一個單詞，以此類推。
T: Let’s play the game: Clapping the words. Clap your hands and then clap your knees. Follow me please.
2、教師引導學生吧黑板上的單詞卡片進行分類，每一組找一類單詞。
國家名：the UK, Canada,the USA, China
家庭成員：grandfather/grandpa,grandmother/grandma, father/dad, mother/mum, brother, sister
形容詞：thin, fat, tall,short, long, small, big
其他：teacher, student,pupil, man, woman
T: wonderful!You can read so many words now. can you group the words?
Team 1 willfind the words of countries.
Team 2 willfind the words of families.
Team 3 willfind the words of adjectives(形容動物或人物特徵的詞).
Team 4 willfind the words of the other words.
3. 整體看圖閱讀，複習打招呼和介紹朋友認識的用語。
(1)引導學生看課本插圖，教師提出問題，組織學生討論：
T: Look at thepictures. what can you see? Where are they? What are they doing?

答案：打招呼和介紹朋友認識。
(2)引導學生梳理所學的打招呼用於以及介紹用語。
4、整體聽對話，獲取具體信息。(1)T：where is Johnfrom? Who is the tall girl學生帶着目的聽對話錄音，學生在理解的基礎上跟讀錄音。

2、能夠運用1-3單元的詞彙和句型描述動物的特徵。
3、能夠朗讀chant 並完成match and read aloud.
教學重點：1、複習形容詞：thin, fat, tall, short, long, small, big
2、能夠運用1-3單元的詞彙和句型描述動物的特徵。
3、能夠朗讀chant 並完成match and read aloud.
教學難點：能夠運用1-3單元的詞彙和句型描述動物的特徵。
1、教師呈現歌謠，引導學生談論bird和panda的特徵，並猜測他們的對話。
2、T：look at the picture. What’s this/that? It’s a panda/bird. What colouris the …? What are they talking?
3、看動畫回答問題：Who is small and fast? Who is fat? Who has a short tail? 然後學生模仿錄音並跟着動畫吟唱。
4、師生談論每個動物的特徵，學生讀句子連線，對答案。

教學目標：複習1-3單元的音素，a , i, e
教學重點：1、複習形容詞：thin, fat, tall, short, long, small, big
2、能夠運用1-3單元的詞彙和句型描述動物的特徵。
教學難點：能夠運用1-3單元的詞彙和句型描述動物的特徵。
1、聽音找音素。教師每說出三個單詞，學生聽音找出相同的音素;複習三年級上冊學過的字母與音素的歌謠。

5、圈單詞，讀單詞並按音素分類。
