It is generally acknowledged that readingplays an essential role in the growth of individuals. There is no denying thatpeople take extensive reading as a priority in learning. While this doesn'tnecessarily mean learning is restricted to reading, practice is alsocontributing to one's upbringing.
On the one side, the importance of readingcan never be overemphasized. Great books offer us creative ideas, optimistic perspectivetowards the life and the world, psychological health and cultivate example, Chairman Mao, who is presumably the greatest militarist of moderntimes and led Chinese people finally overturned imperialism, feudalism, bureaucracy,is a passionate reader throughout his life. Similarly, Premier Zhou, whoseinspiring stories concerning reading books are widely spread, had gain greatrespect as a diplomat with wisdom and humor, which can be partly attributed tohis accumulation of knowledge that is extracted from books. First, it is evident that nowadays AIhas been widely applied in our daily life, which provides us with significantproductivity boost both in work and study and great convenience. For example,the extensive acceptance of robots in the manufacturing industry, serviceindustry as well as agricultural industry has greatly liberated us from worklike washing dishes, watering the flowers and assisting students in revisingcompositions and enabled us to save time for more crucial things. “同題英文寫作” 作爲多所知名高校共同發起的特色在線寫作活動，和普通教學模式不同的是更強化了“以賽代練”，在全國範圍內掀起對英文寫作標準的高要求。大賽不僅可以對國內各個學段的學生英語作文應用水平做一次全面調研，更能在豐富的數據支撐下構建起新的語料認知樣本。批改網充分利用數據與技術的結合優勢，打造出人工智能級別技術產品。學生的英文寫作特點和現狀也可用於地方上教研使用，“同題”的核心就是同化起點，而不同學生的不同水平則由技術去針對性進行批改。
2014年4月至5月，首屆同題寫作活動收集到來自全國515所高校超過32萬篇學生作品。庫容量達到的54,396,867字詞,大大刷新了之前任何國家語料庫的儲備。該數據庫成爲中國乃至全球首份客觀、自發和全面的學習者同題語料庫。基於此，中國高校英語寫作教學聯盟和北京語言智能協同研究院聯合發佈了《中國學生英語寫作能力調研數據報告·2014高校篇》，從報告中全國大學生的英語寫作能力現狀第一次以數據的形式得到直觀的展現。

富於創造性的人機互動體驗

批改網的批改流程是對學生的每次寫作進行打分和點評，而且針對具體的句子及單詞用語料庫的數據進行比對，讓學生不僅知道錯在哪裏，還能看到更好的單詞語句結合應用案例。最核心的亮點則是，在批改網上按照意見修改作文，分數會提高。所以，更多的學生享受這種攻略式的引導學習，不僅激發了積極性，更在與機器交互的過程中掌握了紮實的基礎。
來自北京外國語學院的一位老師表示，學生在活動中並不是一個人在孤軍奮戰，而是有了一個智能虛擬老師與其實時互動。學生寫好作文後只要幾秒鐘就可以得到分數、評語和按句點評，學生需要鞏固的知識點也會被一一指出。同時這還是一個允許學生“試錯”的活動，學生經過自主思考後可對文章進行反覆修改並及時得到虛擬老師的指導。在互動中學生分數會越改越高、文章也越來越流暢，完成寫作任務就像遊戲攻關有挑戰性。在學生提交作業後，老師們也可以可視化的瞭解學生成長過程，經過智能分析後，教師可以根據個人和班級的診斷報告爲學生進行鍼對性的備課和答疑服務。

“百萬同題英文寫作”活動是由批改網主辦，由中國高校英語寫作教學聯盟和北京語言智能協同研究院指導下舉辦的特色線上活動。2014年4月首屆同題寫作活動由清華大學、北京大學、南京大學、復旦大學、中山大學五校聯合發起，一個月的時間內收集到了來自全國515所學校超過32萬篇學生作品，形成第一個中國英語學習者同題語料庫()，併發布了《中國學生英語寫作能力調研數據報告·2014高校篇》。
2015年爲了能夠更深入的分析中國學生英文寫作能力，發掘大數據的力量，支持中國英語教學工作，同時響應國家四月“全民讀書月”的號召，第二屆“同題英文寫作活動”與噹噹網九屆書香節攜手，讓學生“飽覽羣書嗅書香，激活智慧書美文”，用一篇篇動人的文章展現中國學生個性風采、提升國際交流能力、鍛鍊英文寫作能力。

四、活動形式
本次活動共設置大學(本科及以上)、高職、高中、初中四個組別，活動形式爲同主題寫作。
(1)題目設置：
各組題目主題相同，但評分標準不同。
不限制寫作時間、不限學生修改潤色次數
學生習作必爲原創，抄襲文章將不被接納
(2)教師參與方式
教師參與活動必須從活動官網引用佈置活動題目，作爲作業任務佈置給自己的學生
教師可在自己的批改網賬戶查看學生參與情況，以及本校本區域的師生參與情況。
(3)學生參與方式
有教師指導的學生有兩種參賽方式
A可通過搜索教師告知的參賽題號答題
B可通過在活動主頁點擊"學生答題"，選中自己的教師進行答題
無教師指導的學生可通過活動主頁選擇，直接答題給句酷批改網參與
抄襲問題：本次活動題目對於超過40%相似的文章將給出提示，以避免抄襲情況。
五、參與激勵
學校激勵:
1、參與學校凡提交有效作文達到2000篇以上可爲其建立本次活動的校本語料庫。
注：有效作文指學生提交到本校教師參與活動引用形成的作文號中且非抄襲的學生作文。
2、學生提交作文最先達到5000篇以上的100所學校可獲得5000元助研助學金;
學生提交作文最先達到3000篇以上的100所學校可獲得3000元助研助學金;
學生提交作文最先達到2000篇以上的100所學校可獲得2000元助研助學金;
(注：單校助研助學金金額取最高檔。助研助學金可用於學校獎勵本校在外語教學當中表現突出的老師和學習勤奮刻苦的學生。)
3、學校可派代表參加語言大數據與外語教學研討會。
教師激勵:
1、收到學生有效作文超過10篇的教師，可在活動結束後獲得活動語料庫訪問賬戶。
2、每增加50位學生提交有效作文，教師可獲得一次抽獎機會(最多10次抽獎機會)
學生激勵
1、優秀作品一經選中,可入選出版優秀學生作文集，學生可獲得優秀作文入選證書。
2、凡有效提交作文的學生均可獲得一次學生專場抽獎機會。

1、本次活動最終解釋權歸批改網所有。

2016百萬同題英文寫作寒假特別活動【活動目的】
爲提高各界學生英語學習興趣，豐富學生寒假學習形式，引導學生在生活中運用英語，拓寬學生英語實踐渠道，使學生獲得英語學習的成就感，本次寒假特別活動以『我的快樂寒假』爲主題，包括『用英文記錄寒假生活』、『我和外教聊寒假』兩部分活動，從聽、說、讀、寫全面提升學生英語表達和交流能力。
【活動內容】
*英文寫作部分：
寫作題目共分爲四期，每期均有不同的寫作主題，題目答題時間分別爲： 1月23日-1月31日、2月1日-2月7日、2月8日-2月14日、2月15日-2月23日，每期有單獨排名和計分。
【參與方式】
*教師參與方式：
1、教師從批改網或QQ羣中訪問活動頁面
2、點擊『教師|引用佈置』將四個活動題目和外教聽說課介紹引用到自有賬戶中
3、下載『寒假英語寫作活動參與指南』通知學生答題
*學生參與方式：
1、學生通過訪問批改網、QQ羣(老師通過QQ羣佈置作業)等渠道，進入活動頁面。
2、英文寫作部分參與：點擊『學生|學生答題』提交作文即可。
3、外教聽說課參與：點擊活動頁面『外教聽說課』按照自己的時間預約外教上課。

1、全國作文比賽複賽名額：以四次寫作任務得分總分排名，前15%學生可獲得2016年全國英語寫作比賽複賽晉級名額
2、優秀作品榮譽證書：每個作文題目下將精選200篇優秀學生作文編輯成冊，學生將獲得優秀作品榮譽證書。
3、幸運獎品：在寒假期間(1月23日-2月23日)每天提交或修改完善已有文章的學生，均可獲得1次抽獎機會，幸運獎品包括香港迪士尼夏令營名額、ipad mini2、Q幣等。
4、個人英語寫作能力診斷報告：在2016年新學期開學時將根據四次寫作任務及口語課教師反饋量身定做學生個人診斷報告一份，助力新學期英語能力提升。
-教師激勵：
1、班級診斷報告：寒假累積收到學生作文超過120篇的教師(4個題目累加)，可收到班級診斷報告一份，詳細分析學生假期作業完成情況、及英語寫作能力共性和個性特點。
2、學校及區域診斷報告：學校和各教研區域參與班級和學生數量具有一定規模，可申請活動主辦方提供學校或區域數據診斷報告一份。
3、綁定QQ羣通知學生答題，更有機會獲得話費獎勵。
4、2016CLIC(中國語言智能大會)邀請函，收到學生作文超過120篇，可獲得2016CLIC會議邀請函。
5、積分獎勵：寒假期間收到學生提交寒假活動作文，每篇教師可得10積分。
