Time seems to speed up as soon as the students step into their final and vital college entrance examination is approaching day by e a few students have moved out from their dormitories to live in a rented room near the school to make every minute count.

It cannot be denied that they have their own time schedule after classes and easily concentrate on lessons alone in their small ’s important,with their morns taking care of them,they can spare more time for ver,there exist some example,sometimes their minds go wandering easily without competitors hermore,a student who is left alone to study at rather an easy atmosphere tends to get distracted or even feel tired easily.

In spite of the fact that the dorm life is full of fun and friendship,noisy songs and shouts in the dorms after evening classes only quiet down long after the blackout at 10:30 p. m.,leading to a serious lack of sl-ee-p,I e still,they don’t make fullest use of time to study so,from my perspective.I prefer to live in the rented room.

But, as a high school student, I find that living off school is also very popular in high school. They often say that they can have a better environment to study living outside school. But, I don’t agree with them. I think this is their excuse to play more. Firstly, school is the best place for study. Secondly, their self-control ability is not very good. They may play or waste their study time. I think this is one of the reasons that renting a house outside school is very popular. And another reason I think is they want to be special. As most students live in dormitory, he feels special when he lives outside school. Their psychological effect may be the main reason to make living off campus popular.

聽說在大學校外租房，而不住在宿舍裏是非常受歡迎的。但是，作爲一個高中生，我發現在高中校外租房也很受歡迎。他們經常說住在校外可以有一個更好的學習環境。不過，我不贊成他們的說法。我覺得這是他們想多玩點的藉口。首先，學校是學習最好的地方。其次，他們的自我控制能力都不是那麼的好。他們可能去玩或者浪費了學習的時間。我認爲這就是校外租房熱的其中一個原因。我覺得另一個原因是他們想成爲特別的人。大多數學生都住在宿舍裏，住在校外會讓他覺得自己很特別。他們的心理作用也許是校外租房流行的主要原因。

More and more students like to live off campus rather than on campus nowadays. There have been two opposing views about living off campus. One view states that renting a house outside campus is better. Another view in contrast to the first one believes that it is more harm than good to live off campus. I would like to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of renting a house off campus.

The advantages could be as follows. First of all time management is easier if living off campus because students can make their own plan of when to get up when to sleep when to have meal and when to study. Students can also burn the midnight oil when the study is very busy. Secondly students can have a free living style. They can cook for themselves in their house. They can play games watch movies and do whatever they want in the house and these are not possible or at least not convenient when living on campus. Finally renting a house could help students learn how to live by themselves and help them learn to control their behaviours.

The disadvantages are also obvious. In the first place it may be not safe for a student living outside the campus without the supervision or help from the staff of the university. When emergencies happen students have no one to ask for help. In the second place some students may not be able to control themselves very well. They may addict to computer games or even gambling because nobody would control them. Last but not least it should be more expensive to rent a house and live outside the campus.

To sum up it is hard to say living off campus is good or bad. It is reasonable to say that it depends on the characteristics of the student. If he/she can control himself/herself well enough it may be a good idea to live off campus. Otherwise living on campus may be a suitable way of living.
