Spring is my favorite season. In spring days, everything comes out. Whileyou are walking outside, your eyes will be filled with green.

In spring days, our world is a sunny place, which is covered with greentrees and colorful flowers, so it can be described as a paradise. Especiallywhen you are in the countryside, you can see green mountains, vast fields, cleanstreams, and all the living creatures, coexisting harmoniously. All of them makeup the most beautiful picture in the world.

This winter is freezing cold. I didn’t have any desire to go out for play.I always stayed at home. Actually, most of the time I was in my bed. Later my mother found that I was so lazy. Then sheforced me to go out. Since my mother said, I have no excuse to reject. My motheris right. Though the outside was icy, it’s fantastic. I have a great time during the winter holiday, because I enjoy myself aswell as focus on my study. As it’s known to all, the Spring Festival is the mostimportant in winter holiday that would occupy much time to celebrate efore, I finished my homework first, so that it won’t bother my enjoymentduring the festival. I finished my home work in one week. And I went shoppingwith my parents. We bought a lot of things, especially snacks and fruits. Then,it was the Spring Festival. We had a big dinner on the New Year’s Eve. Myparents prepared the big dinner and I could only act as assistant. The dinnerwas so delicious that I ate so full. In the next several days, my parents and Ivisited our relatives and friends or they visited us. Sometimes, we went out forfun together. We children were always the most excited. Now, holiday is comingto the end and I will go to school soon. I am so happy that I have a wonderfulwinter holiday.

During the winter holiday, I was very happy because of the Chinese new yearand other reasons. During the holiday, my parents and I went back to my hometownin the countryside in Hebei Province. I had not come back for several years, sothat I was so surprised to find that great changes had taken place in this smallvillage in the past years. Almost every family in the village had color TV setand some of them had computers. Many families had their houses newly built orrebuilt. Previously,could be seen everywhere, but now they have taken on anentirely newlook. Motorcycles or even private cars are not luxuries anymore.

One of the villagers proudly told me that he and some other villagers weregoing to join a tour and travel abroad. Previously, the villagers were busy intheir farm work all the year round, but now they have much more time and moneyto relax or entertain. Traveling has become a new trend among villagers. Seeingthese amazing changes, my father said that he would go back to my hometown assoon as he retired. As for me, I strongly supported his idea.
