英國出現"讓人蒙羞"的聖誕樹
According to the Daily Mail of December 1, with only a string of colored lights, a spindly trunk and some parse branches, a Christmas tree was slammed by local residents as "an embarrassment to the community" after it was placed outside the Liverton Mines Community Association's center in Liverton Mines, Teesside, UK, last week. Residents complain that the fir makes the village look cheap but the association's treasurer argued that the plant didn't look too bad but at the moment it's covered in snow。
據英國《每日郵報》12月1日報道，一棵只裝飾有一串彩燈、一個細弱樹幹、幾根稀疏樹枝的聖誕樹上週被栽種到了英國提茲賽德利夫弗頓礦山社區聯合會中心大樓外，卻被當地居民斥爲“讓社區蒙羞之物”。據瞭解，當地居民抱怨該聖誕樹讓村子看起來很沒品位，但聯合會財務主管稱它並沒有那麼差勁，只是因爲被雪覆蓋遮掩了姿色罷了。
