太牛! 合肥一高中109人獲547份美國大學通知書

109 so-called 'Super Scholars' at a high school in east China's Anhui Province have reportedly received a total of 547 admission letters from universities in the United States.

據報道，中國東部安徽省一高中的“學霸班”，109名學生收到了美國大學的547份錄取通知書。

With just two weeks to go till this year's College Entrance Examination, known as the Gaokao, the students were comparing notes at their commencement ceremony at the International Department of Hefei No.1 High School.

現在距高考還有兩個星期，合肥一中國際部的學生們正在畢業典禮上互相交談。

30% of the students received offers from the top 30 universities in the U.S., with 92% getting offers from the top 50 schools, such as Smith College, Cornell University, the University of California, Berkeley, etc.

其中30%的畢業生收到了美國TOP30大學的通知書，92%的畢業生收到美國TOP50大學的通知書，比如史密斯大學、康奈爾大學及加州大學伯克利分校等知名院校。

One student, Wu Runkun, says he received six admission letters this semester. He said the achievement wasn't easy, and that he'd had to prepare at least six months ahead before applying for these schools.

一名名叫吳潤坤的同學稱，自己收到了6份錄取通知書。他表示，去美國讀大學沒有那麼輕鬆，必須提前半年開始準備。

But the hard work has only just begun. Wu also said he believes Chinese students who study in the U.S. may struggle to fit in due to the differing education styles between China and the United States.

但繁重的工作纔剛剛開始。吳潤坤同學還表示，去美國讀書的中國學生需要努力適應兩個國家不同的教育方式。

Apart from the United States, the 109 'super scholar' students also received offers from universities in other countries, including Australia and Canada.

除了美國之外，“學霸班”的109名同學還收到了澳大利亞、加拿大等國的大學的錄取通知書。
