Life In Vacation

It was a sun day of the summer holiday. The weather was hot. My little brother and I decided to go to the resrvoir to swim by bike. It took us half an hour when we got there, many people were swimming. The we dived into the water……

About an hour later, suddenly somebody called: “help! help!” We were surprised to see a boy struggling in the deep water. As quickly as possible. We swam towards him and pulled him to the shore. He lost his consciousness. We sent him to the nearest hospital at once luckily, he was saved.

In the end, we were worn out, but felt happy. That day was meaningful. We did a good deed!

  六年級英語語法:數詞的分類及表示

一 數詞的種類 數詞分基數詞和序數詞

基數詞是表示自然數列的詞, 例如; one , two ,three,four.....

序數詞是表示先後順序的詞, 例如: first, second ,third,fourth...

二 基數詞和序數詞的表示法

1.基數詞單詞的拼寫:1~12爲單詞,13~19都以後綴-teen結尾,20至90這樣的整十數都以後綴-ty結尾,其他基數詞中間加連字符號“-”再按照上述的變化進行。

例:21→twenty-one 56-- fifty-six 85→eighty-five

三位數的構成爲:幾+百+and+末兩位(或末一位)數

例:132→one hundred and thirty-two

205→two hundred and five

千以上的數字的讀法:從後面往前,每三位數作爲一個單位,分別爲thousand, million.

32, 548, 652, 讀作:thirty two million, five hundred and forty eight thousand, six hundredand fifty two

2. 序數詞=基數詞+th (1、2、3爲 first, second, third)。但以下幾種情況要注意:

1) fifth (第五),eighth (第八),ninth (第九),twelfth (第十二)

2) 以ty結尾的基數詞變詞尾爲tieth

例:twenty→twentieth, ninety→ninetieth

3)複合序數詞只需要將相應基數詞中最後一位變成序數詞,其餘不變。

例:第二十一→twenty-first

第二百四十五→two hundred and forty-fifth
