今天我们要去酒店入住，酒店搞错了订单怎么办？

B：Good afternoon. What can I do for you?

A：I'd like to check in, please. I have a reservation under the name Anthony Roberts.
（我要登记入住。用Anthony Roberts的名字预定的。）
B：All right, Roberts... Oh, Mr. Roberts! We've been expecting here is your keycard to the presidential suite.
（好的。Roberts先生，我们一直在恭候您的光临。这是您总统套房的房卡。）
A：But there must be some mistake; my reservation was for a standard room.
（你们一定是搞错了。我订的是标准间。）
B：Are you sure? Let me double-check.

语言剖析

1. I'd like to check in, please.
check in 登记入住 check in 一般指的是机场办理登记手续，在酒店的话也可以表示登记入住。

2. 入住酒店补充表达用语
Do you have any vacancies? 请问还有空房间吗？
I'd like to book a double room. 我想订一间双人房。
What attractions are nearby? 附近有什么旅游景点？
I'd like a room with a view. 我想要一个风景较好的房间。
What is the price per night? ls free breakfast included? 住一晚要多少块钱？屋价里包早餐吗？
Excuse me, what's the wifi password? 请问Wifi 密码是多少？
We have single rooms, double rooms and suites and deluxe suites andPresidential suites.
我们旅馆里有单人间、双人间、套房、豪华套房及总统套房。

3. I have a reservation under the name Anthony Roberts.
reservation 预定 under the name 用...的名字
除了我们都知道的“在……之下”的意思，介词“under”在特定情况下也可以表示为以谁的名义，意思和in the name of 一样
My reservation is under the last name "Smith."我用“Smith”这个姓预定的。
I booked the tickets under your name.我用你的名字订了票。
Did you make the reservation under my name or his?你用我的还是他的名字预定的？

4. We've been expecting you...
We've been expecting you...是一种常用的接待用语，表示恭候多时，我对你是朝思暮想，盼星星，盼月亮，终于等到你啦！不过一般普通的标间，前台也不会这么夸张，之所以这么说是因为以为他定了总统套房呀！当然了，你到机场接工作上非常重要的贵宾，也可以用I've been expecting you.

5. This is my confirmation number.
Confirmation 确认
Confirmation number意思是订单号，比如我们在美团，饿了么等平台上预定了服务之后都有订单号，叫做Confirmation number。
不知道大家有没有这样的经历，沉迷学习无法自拔，甚至都忘了期末考试的时间，舍友问你是不是今天期末考试啦，你竟然也不知道，班级群没说呀！I don't know if we have the final test today. I'm still waiting for confirmation.

6. There seems to have been a mix-up.

在餐厅点餐，明明点的是鱼香肉丝，服务员却把别人的宫保鸡丁送了上台，这是你可以对服务员说，I think there's been a mix-up. I didn't order this.我想一定是搞错了，我没有点这个菜哦。
菜断错了还好，医院接生房里孩子报错可就有意思啦，I'm sorry, sir; there has been a terrible mix-up. We've given you the wrong baby.对不起，先生。我们搞错了，之前给你的孩子不是您的。

7. Unfortunately, we're overbooked at the moment.

双十一Iphone X大降价，只要1000元，只卖1000台，从来不熬夜的你，为了手机也是拼了，你好不容易熬夜到12点，结果还是没买到，只怪手速太慢啦！They were overbooked during 5 seconds.太火爆了，5秒钟之内就被预定一空。
假期出去旅游一定要提前预定酒店，因为啊，假日期间一般酒店都被预定一空。Hotels are usually overbooked during holidays.

entary 的表达也很高级，表示 free 免费的
比如酒店里面会有一些免费的矿泉水供应，通常旁边会放一个牌子：with compliments免费使用。前两天移动还打电话过来问小E老师要不要免费升级宽带网速，从20M提升到100兆，客服小姐姐问道：Can I offer you a complimentary upgrade?你想免费升级吗？入住四星级以上的酒店一般都包含免费的早餐，The price includes a complimentary breakfast.
