雅思聽力場景分析及解題技巧
雅思聽力Section 1 和Section2都需要遵循 “所聽即所得” 的原則。與第一部分不同的是，Section2的形式是一段單人獨白，語速稍快，難度也在有所增加。
雅思聽力Section2場景
Section2的場景仍以社會生活場景爲主，如旅遊(traveling),校園生活(campus life)，銀行(banking)場景，其中尤以旅遊場景最爲常見。
熟悉場景詞彙是把握原文信息的關鍵，所以在準備考試時應該先解決詞彙問題。雅思考試不同於託福，後者的聽力題都是選擇題，而前者有很大一部分題是要求拼寫單詞的，即不光要聽得到考點，還要準確地拼寫下來。以traveling場景爲例，關於旅行服飾中的詞彙步行靴(walking boots)、夾克衫(jacket), 旅行裝備中的急救箱(first-aid kit)、手電筒(torch), 交通工具中的四輪驅動(four-wheel drive)，旅遊目的地中的熱帶雨林(rain forest)、鄉村(village)、瀑布(waterfall)等都應該會拼寫。
校園生活場景不同於Section3、4中的教育(Education)場景，前者偏重於生活方面，而後者側重於學術(academic)方面，關於教育場景會在Scetion3、4的講解中分析。校園生活場景包括校園設施(facilities)、規矩(rules)、新生報到(orientation)等一系列較生活化的相關話題。如一個顧問(counselor)給大家介紹該校的幫助支持中心(supporting center), 內容涉及如何申請獎學金(scholarship)和津貼(grants),如何與導師聯繫等等。拿剛剛結束的5月14號考試爲例，Section 2 第 19題 dinging room inexpensive(the prices are quite reasonable)，就是該場景的體現。
又如，銀行(banking)場景，主要是考如何開帳戶(open an account),開什麼帳戶(一般是學生帳戶(student account), 只有在獲得銀行允許(permission from bank)的情況下，纔可以透支(overdraft),並且還要支付一定的利息(interest)。同樣，5月14號Section 2中18題 關於bank每天開放的次數 open twice。以上所舉的場景相關詞彙考生都應該熟練掌握。

在該部分中常出現三大題型：表格題(table),地圖題(mapping)和簡答題(short-answers)。做前兩種題型的時候要注意雅思的一大重要原則：順序原則，即原文出現的順序與題號順序一致的原則。
做表格題前一定要看好考題指示，是否有字數限制，一般是NO MORE THAN THREE WORDS(三個字以內)，當然有的時候是兩個字或四個字以內，要看具體的題目要求。雅思的評分標準很嚴格，即使答案的意思正確而超過了字數限制也是不得分的。因爲表格題是按照一定的邏輯順序或某些特定格式排列出來的，所以要根據“順序原則”來判斷表格是按照橫列或豎列順序展開，接下去根據表格中已有的信息來判斷空格的內容，如電話號碼，價格，交通工具，數字或者是百分比，這樣就可以在聽的時候有的放矢，抓住考點來聽了。另外還要注意表格中同等位置的格式，如專有名詞的大小寫等。
很多同學初做讀圖題覺得無從下手，其實只要掌握方法是不難拿分的。首先要找到圖中的起始點，通常會以特殊的印刷體表現，如字體加粗等。然後要根據起點來判斷實際的左右方向，最後就要熟悉圖中的道路和建築物名，這些名稱是做題的輔助信息。聽題時可以將自己設想成圖中的人，拿着筆畫路線，提高準確率。
