現階段已經穩定達到雅思6分以上水平，目標在雅思7分及以上的同學，基本上對雅思閱讀的題型和做題思路和方法已經比較熟悉(如果你對題型不熟，也達到了這個分數，那麼告訴你一個好消息，題型熟了以後你的閱讀分數就會非常高);
同時具備了至少5000-6000的詞彙水平，能夠較好地理解題目和文章核心部分;雅思劍橋真題也已經刷了不少，具備了較多的做題經驗。而想要有更進一步的提高，這些同學還需要做到：處理好時間與正確率的關係;拒絕鑽牛角尖;揣摩出題人的意圖。
處理好時間與正確率的關係
經常聽同學們吐槽，再給我十分鐘，我就能把題目做對。時間把控確實是不少同學的心病，往往因爲時間沒有有效把控，導致題目和文章中的同意替換沒有理解透徹，或者由於考場上被刻意營造出來的緊張氛圍而陣腳大亂，心理防線崩盤，造成分數不理想。
閱讀考試中的速度有兩部分：閱讀文章的速度和審題做題的速度。同學們需要分別提升這兩種速度。
首先說一下審題做題的速度，這一點沒有特別的好辦法，只有“逼自己”。一方面逼自己紮實鞏固詞彙量和長難句的分析能力(雅思閱讀中的長難句絕大多數可以依靠國內高中水平的語法知識分析理解，如果對這方面有困難則需要回爐梳理語法知識)，另一方面就是在平時的練習中逼自己控制時間，通常情況下，13-14道題目的審題時間控制在3分鐘以內，第一篇閱讀完成時間在15-18分鐘以內(不建議太快，有同學可能15分鐘內就能完成第一篇，但是一定要保證準確率，不然還是放慢一點)，第二篇18-20分鐘以內，第三篇23分鐘左右。
以上都是我們在平時的練習中需要達到的基本時間要求，這樣的話纔會在真實的考場上游刃有餘，幫助緩解緊張的心態。
其次是閱讀文章的速度，衆所周知在考試中，文章內容並非需要一字不差的看完，如何準確略掉與做題無關或者不影響理解的內容，需要結合文章段落內部的邏輯結構和語法框架，審時度勢。
拒絕鑽牛角尖
到了六分水平以後，很多同學在做閱讀，尤其是判斷題時，特別喜歡“擡槓”，擡答案的槓，而我一向以爲這是一種浪費時間的無效動作。這種擡槓現象的背後，一方面是考生對於文章和題目都有了比較清晰的認知，並且勇於思考，這是一種進步的表現，但是也體現了對英語邏輯思維的不熟悉，以及對於雅思閱讀根據同意替換做題這一精髓還未能完全悟透。
一旦出現錯題，在確定印刷出版無誤之後，考生的正確姿勢應該是及時給自己“洗腦”，而不是繼續按照自己的思維去理解題目了。儘管兩種語言思維確有差異，但我們爲了將雅思題目做對，是不是應該順從英語思維或者出題人的思維呢?
繼續堅持自己的看法是不可能改變任何現狀的。如果我們願意低下自己高貴的頭顱，在平時的練習和考試中順從模仿英語思維，去理解答案的出處，久而久之，當我們也形成了類似的英語思維，那麼選出正確答案就變得順理成章。
揣摩出題人的意圖
我們埋頭刷題的目的是什麼?爲了熟悉題型，爲了積累同意替換，爲了鍛鍊速度。但還有一個目的可能對我們閱讀能力的質的提升有重大幫助，就是領會出題人的意圖。同學們有空可以嘗試先不做題，只看文章。比如這段話，劃出你認爲比較重要的三點信息。

如果有同學具備了這種猜透出題人心思的能力，那麼距離閱讀高分已經近在咫尺了，而這種能力是需要大量刷題並且對題目和對應答案句進行細緻精讀後積累出來的思維慣性。
刷題一定要帶腦子，審題一定要會預判，努力思考題目中可能的同意替換點，可能在文章中出現的同意替換表達。做題一定要嘗試反推，題目所對應的段落可能包含什麼樣的信息。
