一、“興趣”——人常說，興趣是學習最好的老師。少兒學習英語重在激發和培養興趣，培養出一定的語感和良好的語音、語調基礎，使孩子與人樂於用英語進行簡單的交流。多用做些遊戲、模擬電影、電視場景等方法可以提高孩子的積極性，激發學習英語的興趣。還有些家長沒有額外地加重孩子學習的砝碼，而是選擇適合孩子的英語類遊戲，使其在輕鬆的氣氛中，增強對英語學習的感性認識，應當說也是一種很明智的選擇。

二、“習慣”——學習英語特別需要營造一種氛圍、環境，形成浸入式的習慣和積累。一位深資培訓機構從業者這樣對記者說，我的英語之所以學得好，有一個重要因素是，小時候大哥每天早上都要聽英語磁帶，這樣的氛圍當時不覺得有何益處，但是日積月累，就會有不少的長進。再者，對於參加校外培訓的孩子來說，每週學習至少三次，非常有必要,但並不能完全解決問題，家長則需要幫助孩子，把課堂上得到的引導貫穿在日常的學習生活之中,配合老師的正確學習方法。
