時年八月五日，詩人重訪舊地，二十年光陰匆匆過，借中秋團圓之節感懷：老友離散，物是人非，南宋朝局江河日下，難免愁上心頭。
最喜歡的確是這句“欲買桂花同載酒，終不似，少年遊”，年少時真是好啊，有酒有朋友，一路桂花肆意遊，可惜，再也不是當年了。
4. 轉朱閣，低綺戶，照無眠。不應有恨，何事長向別時圓？人有悲歡離合，月有陰晴圓缺，此事古難全。但願人長久，千里共嬋娟。

月亮轉過硃紅的樓閣，掛在雕花的窗上，照着絲毫沒有睡意的自己。
這句譯文很巧妙，將“照無眠”譯作shed her light upon the sleepless bed。無眠的是人，譯文中卻用sleepless來形容bed。而牀無眠只有一種情況，就是人沒有躺在上面，側面映襯了作者毫無睡意，可能正站在牀前賞月吧。
