【語言點精講】

spiritless: 無精打采的;沉悶的。

Jockey Club: 花露水，此處指俱樂部名。另外，Jockey Club亦指英國賽馬總會，此短語小寫時常指“賽馬俱樂部”。

stuffy: 乏味的;沉悶的。

B: I can imagine it would be enough to put one to sleep.
