朝韓舉行核問題直接會談

Nuclear envoys from North and South Korea held talks Friday on the sidelines of the ASEAN security forum in Bali, the first such meeting between the two sides since six-party nuclear talks collapsed in December 2008.

The South's Yonhap news agency quoted North Korea's nuclear envoy Ri Yong Ho as saying the parties agreed to work together to resume the stalled disarmament talks.

Seoul's chief nuclear negotiator Wi Sung-lac said the meeting had been "very constructive" and useful.

North Korea's two nuclear tests in the past five years triggered international sanctions against Pyongyang.

South Korea, the U.S., Russia, China and Japan have been pushing for a resumption of the six-party talks. All six parties are attending the ASEAN conference.韓國官員表示，來自朝鮮和韓國的核問題特使星期五在印尼巴厘島東盟安全問題會議期間舉行了會談。有關外交人員說，這是自2008年12月有關核問題的六方會談破裂以來，朝韓兩國核問題首席特使之間的第一次會議。

朝鮮過去五年舉行兩次核試驗，導致國際社會對平壤實施制裁。韓國、美國、俄羅斯、中國和日本一直在推動重啓六方會談。六國都參加了這次東盟會議。
