機動車已成爲中國空氣污染重要來源

Automotive vehicles have emerged as a major source of China's air pollution, according to a report released by the Ministry of Environmental Protection (MEP) last Saturday.

環境保護部上週六發布的報告稱，機動車已成爲我國空氣污染的重要來源。

China had 295 million automotive vehicles on its roads as of the end of last year, emitting pollutants weighing about 44.73 million tons, down 1.3% year-on-year, the report showed.

該報告顯示，截至去年年底，我國上路機動車達2.95億輛，排放污染物4473萬噸，同比減少1.3%。

Analysis of air pollutants of 15 major Chinese cities showed that local mobile emitters, a category that includes vehicles, contributed to about 13.5% to 41% of total fine particle concentration, according to Liu Bingjiang, a senior official with MEP.

環保部高級官員劉炳江稱，針對國內15個大城市空氣污染物進行的分析顯示，包括機動車在內的本地移動排放源對細顆粒物總濃度的貢獻範圍約爲13.5%至41%。

The MEP will enhance supervision on the production, use and elimination of automotive vehicles to reduce air pollution, Liu added.

劉炳江還表示，環保部將加強對機動車生產、使用、淘汰的監管，以減輕空氣污染。
